Shinobu has been the best postpartum doula I could have ever met! She tenderly cared for my newborn and was so kind and patient with my toddler. She was such a source of peace during the transition from 1 to 2 kids. Every time she came to my house she made me feel like I could trust her with everything. I am so thankful for everything she has done as my doula!

余語さんが居なければアメリカでの出産は思うようにいかなかったと思います。入院中は夫の立ち会いが難しいので余語さんにお願いしましたが、英語ができない私へ分かりやすく通訳して下さり、専門的な知識も教えてくださったので大変助かりました。出産時も励ましや応援もして下さり一緒に喜んでくれたのでとても頼りになりましたし嬉しかったです。 産後の夜泣きや授乳のアドバイスや赤ちゃんへの対応までして下さり精神的にも支えてもらいました。退院後の小児科や産婦人科への受診予約、搾乳器の保険会社を通しての手配等までして下さり、出産関係の専門用語が夫も分からないので助かりました。数日間一緒に過ごしていただきましたが、余語さんの人柄の良さや仕事への真剣さと熱心さが伝わり、私も自然と頑張ろうという気持ちとポジティブな気持ちで過ごせました。海外での出産という緊張が続く環境でしたが余語さんのお陰で楽しく、考えていたよりも理想的な入院生活を過ごせました。ありがとうございました。

Shinobu did an outstanding job for our family's postpartum experience. Her kind and gentle demeanor was so welcome. She helped me with breastfeeding and pumping - she went above and beyond in terms of waking me up to pump and bringing my pump parts to me/taking my milk when I was done. She truly spoiled me! She gently helped with breastfeeding. She was so thorough with her notes on hers and my sons night - and even provided linked resources. She was the best and such a great part of the healing process! 言葉や文化の違いのせいか自分の人見知りの性格のせいか、病院では全くリラックスできず、母親になった実感もわきませんでした。退院後、しのぶさんが日本語で赤ちゃんのお世話の仕方を丁寧に教えてくださり、授乳の不安や精神的な部分もサポートしてくださって、やっと安心して赤ちゃんと向き合えるようになりました。とにかく優しく接していただいて救われました。
